- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide an overview of recent computer science, its position in science and society, solved and unsolved problems and new trends. Today's informatics consists of a wide range of disciplines; We will show how the problems encountered by the development of informatics have initiated their emergence, what solutions have been reached in the field of technology, software and the theory on which informatics is based. We will not forget about new trends, as the artificial intelligence, new technologies as the nature-inspired computing, quantum computing, parallel architectures, cloud computing, internet of things etc. The course includes also basic legislation related to information and communication technologies.
- Learning outcomes
- Learning outcomes of the course include the ability of students to orientate themselves in individual fields of informatics and computer technology, including related legislation, also with a view to the future.
