- Course objectives
The Practical Language Exercises course is designed to enable students, together with the Writing Practice course, to systematically develop all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. For this reason, in addition to Czech textbooks, Italian textbooks and exercise books are also used. The course focuses primarily on consolidating basic knowledge of Italian grammar, expanding vocabulary and practising basic conversational situations. Listening to recordings of native speakers and reading simple texts dealing with everyday life help students develop their ability to understand both spoken and written standard Italian and provide the basis for written and conversational exercises on familiar topics.- Learning outcomes
