Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with current social policy issues at present. All social systems face challenges arising from the consequences of an aging population, and the current epidemiological situation, which has significantly affected everyone's life, has brought further challenges to society. In this sense, the student will have a number of views on the solution of existing social and societal problems after studying the presented text. Learning outcomes: Professional knowledge: The student is able to explain and apply knowledge of social policy focused on new knowledge from practice. He is able to orientate in new social problems and possibilities of their solution. General competence: The student understands the knowledge acquired in teaching and can apply it in further study and in working life. Competences: The student will be able to suggest possible forms of solving current social problems and discuss their projection into practice.
