Course objectives
In this elementary phase of language training, the course will be aimed at managing of specific sound and graphic side of Russian (Russian alphabet training, pronunciation, stress and intonation), next on adoption of word-stock in simple expressions in common situations of everyday life, gaining basic knowledge of Russian grammar, firstly in speaking situations and later by putting knowledge into the language system. The course will comprise also listening training, reading with comprehension and development of speaking skills. The course is designed to give also primary orientation in Russian realia.
