Course objectives (in Czech)
Tento předmět je zaměřen na rozšiřování vědomostí v rámci odborné angličtiny. Plán výuky je postaven na předpokladu, že posluchači již studovali angličtinu alespoň jako druhý jazyk. Na tyto znalosti bude navazováno a cílem je rozvíjet studenty v oblasti čtení s porozuměním, poslechu s porozuměním, konverzace, použití angličtiny (v této části bude rozšiřována slovní zásoba s kladením důrazu na slovotvorbu a bude rozvíjena schopnost používání gramatických pravidel) a dle časových možností bude zařazeno i psaní. Hlavní součástí tohoto předmětu bude odborná angličtina. Témata budou odpovídat odbornému zaměření studentů. Tato sekce již bude zaměřena pouze na schopnost komunikace a rozvoj slovní zásoby k danému tématu a je pojata jako nádstavbová část celého kursu. Materiály budou čerpány zejména ze stránek Evropské unie. Ve výuce bude kladen důraz na komunikaci. Předmět je určen pouze studentům ÚVSRP.
