- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to provide the united interpretation of fundamentals of microeconomics and macroeconomics. In the microeconomics, the comprehension of principal elements of the market, cognition of perfect and imperfect competition and behaviour of partial economic subject, functioning of the marker, work and capital are stressed. The interpretation of the macroeconomics should contribute to comprehension of functioning of economy as a whole, as far as the development of complex quantities e.g. inflation, unemployment, Gross National Product etc. are concerned. The course is intended to provide the students with knowledge of principal economic quantities and processes in order to be capable of analysis of economic information and search for mutual connections of economy and other parts of social life.

- The course can also be completed outside the examination period.
- Teacher's information
- On the basis of previous preparation the student will participate actively in the seminar, discuss about current economic issues and search their causes and connections. The 50% success in control works is a condition of completion of the course.
