- Course objectives
- The course provides the elementary outline of causes, course and possibilities of solution of inter-ethnical problems in Europe with focus on border regions of central Europe. It is attentive to reflexion of relations between states and nations, national and ethnical minorities including evaluation of national myths, stereotypes, prejudice. It is derived from explanation of causes and consequences of division of Europe in the 20th century for nations living on the edge of mutual contact, cognition of current centres of inter-ethnical tension, especially in central Europe and searching for way outs of further development.

8. Problems of preservation and revitalization of ethnical identity of minorities in central and eastern Europe
9. Focuses of ethnical conflicts in central and eastern Europe
10. Boundaries and possibilities of solving ethnical conflicts
11. National character, myths, stereotypes and overcoming of prejudice
12. European Union, euroregions and other factors of stability in central European territory
