The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
The aim of the course is to present the issue of demography and its importance for organs of public administration , social work and social policy. The students will be introduced the elementary concepts of this field (birth rate, mortality rate, wedding rate, population, demographical revolution, migration, migration balance, census) and with relation of demography to sociology, economy and other sciences. In the historical excurse, the students will be introduced the population development of Europe and Czech lands.
