- Course objectives
- The course deals with processes of realization, targets and functions of social policy in the Czech republic which is conceived as a part of public policies. The course contains study of individual parts of social policy and its interconnection with other areas of public policy and administration. The course is focused on respecting also minimal accredited standard for teaching of social work on the level of specialised and university education elaborated by Association of Education Institutions in Social Work in the Czech republic.

Seminar work - orientation in selected social policy topic in a form of essay
Written test verifying the theoretical problems (principal terminology of the field, characteristics of the concepts and principles of the social policy, orientation in effect of various influences and conditions on the form of social policy in society including understanding diversity, conscious of important mill stones of development of social policy, originality of main directions of social policy, social solidarity and re-distribution) and practical knowledge (usage of social political policies in practice).
