- Course objectives
- The course provides basic knowledge of the field of family policy, focuses on its targets, agents and institutions. Offers students the possibility to master not only the theoretical basis regarding the family, but also practical knowledge about the conditions of life and the issues of current families. It deals with specific family needs, such as incomplete families, families with a disabled member, families of ethnic minorities, families, where socially pathological phenomena occur, etc. Study Outcomes: Professional Knowledge: Students can explain and apply knowledge from the field of social policy aimed at helping families. Professional Skills: Students are well-informed on issues in various areas of family relationships and the current status of the family. General Qualification: They understand the knowledge acquired during their lessons and can apply them in further studies and in every-day life.

- An interview will be conducted to verify the listener's ability to navigate in the current issues of family and family policies. Students will produce a presentation on a chosen topic, which will be evaluated by the instructors and students in class.
The instructor will notify the students on the topics that have not been fully lectured for them to seek in the compulsory literature or at the e-learning site.
