Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with a basic and comprehensive knowledge of labour law and its principles in relation to social policy.
Learning outcomes
Professional knowledge: By the end of this course, the student will be able to understand the basic principles of labor law. They will also be capable of applying the fundamental concepts and gaining familiarity with the institutions central to labor law. Additionally, the student will acquire the ability to apply their basic knowledge of labor law in practical situations, particularly in conjunction with public law, especially social security law. Throughout the course, the student will also acquire knowledge related to the employment relationship, working conditions, health protection, and state employment policy.

Assessment methods
Credit - Active participation in seminars, i.e. at least 4 out of 6 seminars. - At each seminar, starting with the second seminar, there will be a midterm test. The test consists of six closed test questions, where each question has only one correct answer and no points are deducted. There will be a total of 5 tests. A maximum of 6 points can be earned for each test, for a total of 30 points for the semester. You must score at least 15 points on the midterm tests to receive credit. Exam - The exam consists of 15 test questions. - Each question is marked with 2 points. - A total of 30 points can be obtained for the test. - The exam is written. - All printed study materials may be used for the exam.
