Course objectives
Objectives: The student will consolidate general and professional pedagogical, special pedagogical and psychological knowledge by registering educational and activation activities and comparing educational constructs in the context of variables influencing the socialization of a person with a disability. He will understand the mutual relationships of biological conditionality and social determination in the formation of a person's personality. In the socio-communication area, the student observes the possibilities of using various communication strategies. The focus and tasks of the listening special pedagogical practice are based on the content of the study field of special pedagogy and is understood as an important part of shaping the graduate's profile. In accordance with this intention, facilities for holding listening practice are also selected, across the relevant departments that deal with the issue of people with disabilities.
Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes: Professional knowledge: - the student characterizes the variables influencing the socialization of people with disabilities - the student can describe educational and activation activities in the context of comprehensive personality development - the student becomes familiar with communication strategies in the context of social communication Professional skills: - the student records the course of educational and activation activities - the student describes specific manifestations resulting from the disability - the student analyzes the data obtained and compares it with theoretical knowledge General competencies: - the student has knowledge of biological conditionality and social determination in the broader context of the development and formation of the human personality - the student can explain the importance of theoretical knowledge of pedagogy, special pedagogy, psychology and psychopathology for the practical work of a special education teacher

Teaching methods
Introductory tutorial for the purpose of input information (content and organizational). The teacher has scheduled regular consultations, at which the student has the opportunity for an individual consultation meeting. Communication also takes place via e-mail.
Assessment methods
Student requirements: Participation in the introductory seminar on practice. Submission of a portfolio according to the specified structure. Content structure of the portfolio: characteristics of selected educational and activation activities, description of the implementation of selected educational and activation activities, characteristics of the student's assistant participation, self-reflection, description of specific user manifestations during the activity in the form of an observation record sheet, description of the applied communication strategy, analysis of the data obtained and comparison with theoretical bases
