Předmět je zaměřen na základní okruhy obecné psychologie a psychologie osobnosti. Cílem je poznání zákonitostí a specifik osobnosti v rámci vývoje, pochopení vývoje člověka v celé životní křivce jak z pohledu kognitivních, tak i emočních a motivačních procesů. Předmět je určen pouze studentům ÚVSRP.
