Cílem předmětu je procvičit a upevnit odbornou terminologii používanou ve veřejné správě na centrální, regionální i místní úrovni i v orgánech a institucích Evropské unie. Studium jazyka má průpravnou funkci se dvěma cíli: komunikačním a vzdělávacím. Cvičení budou rozvíjet řečové dovednosti a povedou k osvojování příslušných jazykových prostředků tak, aby studenti byli schopni efektivně porozumět a pracovat s odbornými materiály v anglickém jazyce.
