- Course objectives
- The aim of the course, in connection to lectures from history of individual countries and lecture dedicated to superpowers and central Europe, is to introduce the role of Russia in detail to students (including the period of existence of Soviet Union) in historical development of countries of Central Europe from Middle Ages till present day. It concentrates both on description of main trends of Russian policy regarding the relation to central Europe, especially on tendencies of infiltration and finally also overrule of this area by Russia and on attitude of central European countries and nations towards this efforts.
