Course objectives
The course provides the fundamental knowledge in the field of social work focused on specific group of handicapped people. It deals with practical observation of life conditions of handicapped (among others also in the form of visit of social institutions, discussions with handicapped person etc.). The course content will be concentrated on physically, sensually and mentally handicapped, the elementary information regarding people with combined handicap will be included as well. The course is intended for Department of Public Administration and Regional Policy students only.

Teacher's information
Oral interview will examine the ability of student to orientate in issue concerning handicapped people and to understand the situation and specific needs of people with different type of health handicap.
