Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide elementary information about the branch on the background of current state of Czech penal system and its implementation in European context. The students will be introduced with respective legal arrangement, organisational structure of Prison Service of the Czech republic, current issues of prison staff and other questions of penitentiary theory and practice. The course will comprise also practical visit of prison institution.
