Course objectives
Introduction of elementary law norms regarding reparations of victims of totalitarian regimes and their interpretation and practical application. Acts and regulations concerning reparations of victims of Nazi regime (Czechoslovak and Czech reparation of political prisoners, resistance fighters, orphans etc., specific reparations for victims of Holocaust, reparation of victims of forced labour and other Nazi injustice), reparations for victims of communist regime (political prisoners, members of auxiliary technical battalions, persons dragged to gulags in USSR, victims of occupations of 1968), problems of restitution of property and carted off cultural estate, possibilities of reparations of Sudeten German, tendencies of development of this issue.

Teacher's information
Seminar paper (7 pages) - research of some of law norms concerning reparations of repression victims, essay or scientific article focused on concrete topic from the area of reparation of victims of totalitarian regimes in Czechoslovakia or Czech republic or expert opinion on concrete reparation case. The work should verify the ability of independent searching for data their processing including their analysis as well as ability of generalisation of a concrete issue and processing of facto-graphical and methodological correctly analytic or systematic-analytic scientific text.
