Course objectives
The interpretation is focused on some branches of private, public law and some issues of law of European Union. The selection is conditioned by shape of the study field and comprises the issue of civil, labour, family law, civil process, social legislation including social law security, criminal law and law of EU. The knowledge gained by passing the subject Introduction to Law Theory and Practice will be deepened in the field of family law (kinship, adoption and alternative care of child), labour law (foundation, change and termination of labour relation, responsibility for damage and damage refund), law protection and security (social insurance, state social support and social help), criminal law (basics of criminal responsibility, sentences and their imposing including law regulation of alternative sentences whose application is the subject of course Probation, Mediation and Social Work in penal justice, offenses against order in public matters), law of commercial companies (origin, changes and expiry of commercial companies) and law of European Union (organizational structure, application of EC law). The course is intended for Department of Public Administration and Regional Policy students only.
