Na konci semestru bude studentovi zadán test z vybraných témat (viz vybraná témata seminářů u prezenční formy studia) - literatura ke studiu k testu bude uvedena na první přednášce. Úspěšné absolvování testu bude nutnou podmínkou k získání zápočtu. Výsledky testu budou studentovi sděleny e-mailem.

Course objectives
LECTURE The subject is aimed at providing the insight into the family issues, its development, forming relationships within the family, etc. The subject is based on the fundamental characteristics of the family in the history and contemporary Czech society, defines its functions, especially is focusing on the educational function. Attention will be paid to layout and atmosphere of the family, general educational features and functions which make upbringing difficult. The concept of family upbringing, the effect of adequate educational resources, etc. will be discussed more closely. SEMINAR The seminar covers the basic topics of family issues. The subject is aimed at pointing out the value of the contemporary family issues, the development cycle of the family, relationships and processes in the family, ethnically different families, etc. Attention will be paid to the importance of family in contemporary society, the relationships and processes in the family. The seminar will include practical training of model situations in the area of socio-pathological phenomena, etc. solutions.

  • LECTURE
    1. Biological and cultural roots of the family. The family as a biological phenomenon. The concept of the family .
    2. Socio-psychological view of the family.
    3. Family from a sociological point of view
    4. Structure and dynamics of the family, the impact of the upbringing style on the child. The family as a factor of education.
    5. Problems, conflicts and divorce. Legal view on the family.
    6. Current trends in the family. Options and trends of family psychotherapy.
    7. Families with a neglected, abused and/or depressed child.
    SEMINAR
    1. One of the family - Definition of the term "family". The family as a continuously changing system. Basic functions of the family. Factors affecting the functionality of the family. Dysfunction and family breakdown. Family as vital factor of socialization and individualization process.
    2. Social psychology of the family - the fundamental psychological family functions in relation to a child. Families classification based on their functionality.
    3. Social psychology of the family - Characteristics of the most common types of problem-burdened families.
    4. Social psychology of the family - Impact of the selected family characteristics on personality development and academic success of the child
    5. Overview of psychological specifics of an individual forms of foster care.
    6. Families with a disabled child
