Instruction aims at providing basic knowledge on somatic and psychological development of humans across the lifespan - the prenatal and neonatal stages, infancy, toddler stage, pre-school age, school age, pubescence, adolescence, early/mid-/late adulthood and old age. On completion of the course, the student will be orientated in key theories and key characteristics of ontogenesis and will have developed a theoretical and practical foundation for further study of applied disciplines in psychology and pedagogy.
