Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
Complex introduction of principal issue of structural funds, main financial instruments used by European union with the aim to reinforce the economic and social cohesion of EU and decrease developmental differences between individual regions in wide context of dominant periods of development of European integration and regional policies of EU, including respective commands corresponding to political cohesion and other policies of the Union, after analysis of individual instruments of support of EU (European Fund of Regional Development, European Social Fund, European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund, Financial Instrument for Fisheries Guidance, Cohesion Fund) and in connections to specific need of preparation of the Czech republic for usage of Structural funds and Cohesion fund (analysis of dominant aspects of National development plan of the Czech republic) and learn own authentic preparation for elaboration and management of future projects applicable in the frame of EU supplemented by some details of their monitoring and evaluation.

    6. System of utilization of financial resources from structural funds in the Czech republic
    7. Types of projects submitted in structural funds - individual projects and grant schemes
    8. Thematic operational programmes supported by structural funds for the period 2007-2013
    9. Regional operational programmes for the period 2007-2013
    10. Operational programmes Prague and European local cooperation
    11. Software application for preparation of projects from Structural funds, management of project cycle (PMC - Project cycle management)
    12. Processing of model project financed from structural funds
    a) manuals for appliers for financial support
    b) basic processes and rules of project management
    c) criteria of responsibility
    d) project budgets
