- Course objectives
- The course goal consists in complementing basic knowledge of ergotherapy. The course continues the course of ERGOTHERAPY 1 and extends its knowledge with ergotherapy for selected diagnoses. The knowledge of contents and focus of these rehabilitation areas are indispensable to provide comprehensive care for client / patient. Procedures for training of daily life activities (ADL - dressing, eating) contribute considerably to improve the client's / patient's life. The student understands the recommended activities suggested by the ergotherapist in selected actions of fitness ergotherapy and is able to continue the procedures.

- 1. Ergotherapy for selected diagnoses (CMP) - basic knowledge.
2. Ergotherapy for selected diagnoses (DMO) - basic knowledge.
3. Compensation aids for locomotion of children and adults.
4. Self-service of handicapped persons - personal hygiene and dressing - basic knowledge.
5. Training of individual selected ADLs (Activities of Daily Living).
6. Social and working rehabilitation.

Information on the extent and intensity of the course: Cvičení 3 HOD/SEM. - Teacher's information
- The contact instruction is implemented through the system of tutorials on selected topics. The combined part of the studies is implemented in the e-learning course environment at e-portal http://elearning.fvp.slu.cz/. The students have study supports including correspondence tasks available for instruction there. The course is concluded by a credit in written or oral form; within it, the student will demonstrate knowledge of basic and recommended reading and be able to discuss the processed correspondence tasks. The student will have opportunity to consult individually the topics studied, through individual or group tutorials or electronic mail.
Credit requirements: processing of a selected topic in an extent of 5-7 pages and the respective presentation and defence.
