- 1. Definition of science. Scientific knowledge. Classification and types of research.
- 2. Medical research. The significance and topics of nursing research.
- 3. Principles of scientific research. Ethics of scientific research in medical science.
- 4. Process of research. Research design. Formulation of the research question.
- 5. Using electronic information resources. PICOt method. Evidence-based practice (EBM, EMN, EBP).
- 6. Quantitative and qualitative methodologies and research techniques. Formulation of goals and hypotheses.
- 7. Research sample. Representativeness, validity, reliability.
- 8. Variables from a statistical approach. Introduction to descriptive statistics. Qualitative data processing.
- 9. Guidelines for presentation, dissemination of research project results.
