- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to develop communication skills in English (written and spoken) in the field of health communication, to introduce students to professional terminology and situations that may arise in the profession of general nurse. The course includes practice in basic language skills (primarily speaking, then listening, reading, and translating) with an emphasis on comprehension of professional text and the ability to communicate in situations specific to the health professions. On completion of the course, the student will be familiar with common medical terms, medical documentation, and be able to respond in a variety of situations relevant to the profession.

3. Health problems (common health problems, symptoms, illnesses)
4. Ambulance (patient first visit, personal data, medical history)
5. Basic observations (at the doctor, in the hospital)

7. Patient admission for hospitalization (room, schedule, situations)
8. Surgery (process, units, anaesthetics, post-operation care)

- The course is completed by credit, which will take the form of a seminar presentation - a given medical topic prepared in the form of a PPT or a frontal/interactive oral presentation.
