Course objectives
The course objective is to acquaint students with the basic principles of the organization system, financing and management of social services.Students will gain knowledge about the social services system in the Czech Republic and in selected European countries and about major trends that are taking hold in these countries.Partial aim of the course is to acquaint students with current problems that accompany the provision of social services in the Moravian-Silesian Region.
Learning outcomes
Professional Knowledge
Students will learn the issues of management and financing of social services in the Czech Republic and in selected European countries in the extent of the course subject matter.
Professional Skills
Students will be able to navigate the social services system in the Czech Republic, understand the basic principles of its funding and management, and will be able to use this expertise in practice.
General Qualification
Students gain knowledge and skills that lead them effectively to sources of further knowledge and skills needed for their application and use in practice.The general learning outcomes should be the student's ability to think critically and evaluate social reality with no medial or political deformities.
