Course objectives
Nursing care in clinical workplaces that provide acute standard in-patient care, acute intensive in-patient care, follow-up in-patient care, long-term in-patient care. The practice takes place in workplaces enabling the consolidation of nursing skills.
Syllabus
  • 1. Collection of biological material, transport and storage of biological material for examination.
  • 2. Assistance in the administration of blood derivatives.
  • 3. Care of invasive inputs.
  • 4. Preparation of a sterile table, bandages. Small surgical procedures, drains, drainages.
  • 5. Endoscopy, types, patient preparation, assistance, patient care after the procedure.
  • 6. Stomia, tracheostomy, nursing care including tracheostomy.
  • 7. Monitoring consciousness, monitoring pain. ECG measurement. Pulse oxygen therapy.
  • 8. Unconscious client care, nutrition
  • 9. Monitoring of physiological functions
