- Course objectives
- Acquisition of professional knowledge and skills in assistance related to the preparation of special pedagogical training, preventive, educational and activation programs of personal development of people with disabilities across age categories in the physical, mental or social field. Registration and analysis of specific manifestations of verbal and nonverbal communication of people with disabilities in the context of pedagogical and social communication in order to apply appropriate communication strategies. Practical application of suitable communication strategies. Emphasis will be placed on the practical application of selected means of special pedagogical diagnostics, the formulation of the results of the orientation diagnostic process and the design of a suitable educational and activation one. The focus and tasks of listening special pedagogical practice are based on the content of the field of study special pedagogy and is understood as an important part of shaping the profile of the graduate. In accordance with this intention, facilities are also chosen to conduct listening practice, across the relevant ministries dealing with the issue of people with disabilities.

- Participation in the introductory seminar to practice. Portfolio submission according to the set structure: characteristics of selected educational and activation activities, description of preparation and implementation of selected educational and activation activities, characteristics of student participation, self-reflection, description of specific manifestations of verbal and nonverbal communication and behavior of selected user in case of case study, description of applied communication strategy, analysis of the obtained data and comparison with theoretical background.

- Introductory tutorial for the purpose of input information (content and organization). The teacher has regular consultations, at which the student has the opportunity for an individual consultation meeting. Communication also takes place via e-mail.
