- Course objectives
- Making the students familiar with chosen issues the psychology of the personality. Teach them to apply informations and skills in to practical activities of management staff. Subject is recommended also for futures social workers and human sources managers. A range of the particular parts of subject is flexible. Intensity and accents depends on students ability and preparations during introductions subjects like general psychology and sociology.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will explain the main historical assumptions of the emergence of personality psychology. He/She will characterize and compare different personality types in the context of personality development and formation. He/She will explain factors influencing the psychological characteristics of the personality, the relationship to the environment, to work and to oneself. He/She will characterize the specifics of the psychological development of the personality from a biological, psychological and moral perspective. He/She will analyze factors influencing the system of values and norms in the process of individual socialization. He/She will explain the essence of the formation of attitudes and the value scale. He/She will analyze human character traits, abilities, skills and the ability of social learning in connection with the environment and personality development. He/She will characterize the sources of motivation and motivational behavior within the framework of personality typology. He/She will characterize the structure of the MBTI typology and apply it in practice. He/She will characterize specific personality disorders and explain the influence of genetic and social factors.

Seminar classes - Assessment methods
- Presentation of a seminar project on a selected topic. Combined exam (written in the form of a test or oral at the student's request and for students with specific educational needs). The overall grade for the course is the average of the grades from the seminar project and the exam result.
