  • 1. Personnel management in organizational context
    Historical background of personnel management and human resources management. Difference between personnel management and human resource management. Definition and key differences. Role and objectives of personnel management. Personnel management activities and functions: operative and managerial.
    2. Job analysis
    Definition of job analysis. Reasons to invest time in performing job analysis. Basic steps of job analysis. Job analysis methods and resources. Procedure of job analysis. Responsibilities of human resources management. The data collection process. Job descriptions and specification.
    3. Recruitment and hiring process
    Definition of recruitment. Steps in the recruiting process. Full life cycle recruiting. Ways to find candidates. Job application process. Types of recruiting. Selection process and types of selection methods. Assessment center - ways and steps. Recruiting and hiring process: a cost.
    4. Performance appraisal
