Course objectives
Objective of the course is to introduce to essence of strategic management. Strategic management is define as many decisions and activites. Result of this decisions and activities is creation and aplication of firm strategic plans. The strategic plans enable accomplish of the firm goals. Students will introduce to functions and behavior of top management too. Top management is responsible for creation and realization of strategic decisions.

    Essence and importance of strategic management. Dimensions and levels of strategy. Elements of strategic management. Goals of strategic management. Creators of strategy.
    2. Strategic management as a process
    Structure of strategic management as a process. Structural relations of elements strategic management and sequence of the interactions.
    3. Development trends of a world
    Prognostication and techniques of prognostication. Fundamental global problems of world. Elemental contemporary development trends.
    4. Firm vision, firm mission and determination of strategic goals
    Formulation and importace of firm vision. Determination of firm filosofy and formulation of firm mission. Determination of strategy goals. Strategy goals in general form SMART.
    5. Analysis of external firm environment
    Characteristic of distant firm environment. Characteristic of immediate firm environment.
    6. Analysis of internal firm environment
    Internal analysis, methods of internal analysis. Identification of internal strategic factors.
    7. Financial analysis of firm, strategic control and investment planning
