Course objectives
Students during the 3-week-driven professional experience (15 working days) familiar with the working operations of the organization. It is assumed in the ways of organizing student participation in service activities in the workplace. The purpose is to complement the professional experience of theoretical knowledge with practical experience of working in the tourist industry.
Syllabus
  • 1. Organization and management of the organization : corporate policies, guidelines , postal and administrative proceedings , wage costs , labor accounting, billing , taxes, courts and arbitration.
    2. Working with the basic laws and regulations : Labour Code , Commercial Law , Trade Law and other regulations concerning the operation of a travel agency , agencies, information center.
    3. Market Research : Research competition , market research opportunities , marketing strategy , marketing plan of activity .
    4. Preparation Product : supplier-customer relationships (suppliers and clients) , marketing communications .
    5. Prepare sales : working methods and procedures , pricing, catalog, advertising , Public Relations.
    6. Information System Tourism Organization : using PC software .
    7. Sale of product , sales techniques (general and warranty conditions , the travel contract , handling events, cancellation fee.
    8. Contact with customers : the types and personality characteristics of customers , communications , complaints and claims.
    9. Additional services in tourism: transportation vouchers , tickets , publications , maps , souvenirs , etc.
    10. Touroperátorská activity and dealer sales in the travel agency : contracts , commissions and penalties.
    11. Organization and management of retail travel agencies ( information center ) : contracts , commissions and penalties.
    12. Bill Action : The resulting calculation and billing , revenue and loss control activities , debt payments.
    13. Evaluation activities and development plan Tourism Organization : Assessment of satisfaction questionnaires , evaluation of market research and customer base, the coordination of plans for the next period .
    14. Working with tourist guides ( contact, training , organization of self-education , pay , classification , market tours )
    15. Professional development of staff tourism organization , staff training , etc..
