Course objectives
The aim of the course is to supplement the students' knowledge about the issue of acquisition and development of public administration information systems and standards and legislation of public administration information systems. This course is going to familiarize students with the latest developments in the field of public administration information systems and their organizations. Students will learn, among other things, about state concepts in this field and about the role of the institutions, the problems of e-government, e-signature, e-communication, e-filing, etc.

    12. Information systems of the European Union
    13. Individual processing of the seminar paper
    1. Information systems, life cycle of the information system, theoretical definition and specification and components of information systems, characteristics of information systems, classification of information systems
    2. Information Systems of Public Administration, basic regulations and documents, the concept of building information systems for public administration, coordination of ISPA.
    3. Basic registers: register of inhabitants, register of persons (companies), register of territorial identification, addresses and real estates, register of rights and responsibilities of public authorities
    4. Agendas in public administration, territorial identification, records of real estates, records of zoning and construction administrative proceedings, evidence of the housing stock, evidence of population, evidence of economic entities, economic subsystem, legal information etc.
    5. State information policy, information concept, documents
    6. Operating IS: modules
    7. Security of the information systems, ensuring the security, electronic signature.
    8. Identification and authentication, identification of documents
    9. e-Government, transformation of internal and external relations of public agenda using ICT, digitization of public administration internal agendas.
