Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the history and importance of European economic and political integration or EU authorities. The aim of the course is to present primary sources of EU law, enforcement of EU law or preliminary ruling proceedings.

    2. Supranational and EU powers
    3. European Commission
    4. The Council, European Council
    5. European Parliament
    6. The Court of Justice of the European Union, The General Court, The European Union Civil Service Tribunal
    7. Sources of EU law, linkages between institutions, decision-making procedures
    8. Enforcement of the EU law, coercive measures against the EU Member States
    9. Interpretation of EU law
    10. The European Central Bank (ECB), the European Investment Bank (EIB)
    11. The budget of the EC (EU)
    12. The common market - internal market, trade relations within the EU
    13. The development of EU and protection of fundamental rights in the EU
