Prerequisites - information about course preconditions: The course may be enrolled independently on other courses. Students may enroll part 3, if he/she successfully completed parts 1 and 2, or if he/she is studying parts 2 and 3 at the same time. A student who has obtained a certificate from a foreign language with international validity, may ask for recognition according to the particular language level.

Course objectives
Course objectives: After completing the course successfully students will reach the 2nd level of the B1 level (SERR). The course focuses primarily on the development of independent speaking and listening skills. Training takes the form of discussions, role playing, processing case studies and presentations. The receptive skills - listening and reading - are here to develop a rapid familiarization with the text, general understanding and retrieval of detailed information. Attention is also paid to the systematic development of vocational vocabulary, comprehension and study collocations and phrases. Besides the usual language skills, students deepen their searching skills for thematic information on the Internet. Moreover, they extend the ability to work independently with interactive learning materials (DVD-ROM - including audio and video recordings).
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students will demonstrate proficiency in the four language skills of reading, writing, speaking, and listening within the scope of the course syllabus. They will understand the vocabulary covered by the syllabus and be able to apply it in both oral and written communication. Students will be able to describe a company, a product, its characteristics, and its use. They will be able to describe the resolution of a problem within a company, communicate a deadline extension, formulate requests and justifications, and apply vocabulary related to expressing arguments, proposals, and complaints. Furthermore, students will be able to explain the purpose of a trade fair and its course, propose the equipment and layout of an exhibition stand, and apply their knowledge in the implementation of an order or project. Students will be able to present a project and the individual stages of its implementation, identify deviations occurring during project implementation, and describe the tasks required to resolve them.

Předmět je ukončen zápočtem, který posluchači získají na základě:
1/ 1 průběžného ústního testu,
2/ závěrečného písemného testu.
Posluchači mají možnost získat až 100 bodů jako maximum, přičemž k získání zápočtu musí obdržet alespoň 60 bodů. Studenti, kteří danou část jazyka opakují, nemají povinnou 70% docházku.
