Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge and skills sufficient to deal with basic situations in the sphere of general and partly professional language at the A2/B1 level. The course shapes the foreign language habits of the students so that after completing it they will be able to understand common social expressions and apply them independently. They will be able to understand and react in common situations focused mainly on introductions, basic greetings, travel, airport check-in, hotel accommodation, writing emails, making phone calls, etc.
Learning outcomes
I will review and consolidate the expression of repeated actions. I will describe events in the past. I will learn to describe actions that will take place in the future. I will expand my group of modal verbs. I will learn how to react to various situations when traveling, including complaints.
