Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the fiscal policy, the mechanism of the anticipated effects on real variables and to stabilize the economy, macroeconomic and budgetary problems of fiscal policy. The course acquaints students with the typology of budget deficits, analyzes their impact on the economy and presents possibilities to cover them. It explains the issue of public debt, ways of its solution, area of fiscal rules and sustainability of public finances.
