- Course objectives
- The course acquaints students with theory of world economics, elements and relations of world economy and with the distribution of economic potential in particular world regions. Further it acquaints students with the basic tendencies of development in the world economy and their influence on national economy of Czech Republic. The course provides fundamental information about international institutions, economic centers and their roles in the world economy, European Union and integration processes in the world economy. The interpretation covers determination of world economy as a scientific discipline, description of the world economy, international economic relations and their subjects, geopolitical characteristics of the world economy and also acquaints with comparing subjects of the world economy.
