Course objectives
Course objectives: The course explains core tendencies in development of the international monetary system and position and role of the financial institutions in this system. The course analyses functions of the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, regional development banks, Bank for International Settlement, European Central Bank and effects of their functioning on world economy and international monetary system. Attention is also paid on monetary integration in Europe and other parts of the world.
