Course objectives
Economics in the Hotel Business the hotel industry, above all while applying the theoretical knowledge to be used in the practice of hotels and accommodation facilities, insurance, congress and other services. Students will be acquainted with business economy, i.e. business processes, their economic and legal frame, with standardization and organization of hotel facilities and provided services. The course offers specific knowledge and skills which qualify the listeners for these economic activities themselves and leading positions in the mentioned facilities.

    7. Costs, revenues and profit of a hotel
    8. Business effectivity, methods of complex business evaluation in hotel industry
    9. Options of hotel funding, outsourcing in hotel industry
    10. Human resources in hotel industry
    11. Business controlling in hotel industry
    12. Professional societies and associations in hotel industry
