- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to deepen students' knowledge of economics, to explain the theoretic background of the public sector and its role in a mixed economy. Through the economic analysis, the students will be acquainted with the meaning and status of public goods and externalities in the economy, with the theory of public choice and its application in a social practice with the basic tools used in the application of public economy in practice and its functioning in the Czech Republic.

- Attendance in seminars 60%, successful completion of on-going test during the semester. The final grade will be made as the summary of the assessment of on-going test and final written exam.
