The course is offered to students of any study field.

Course objectives

The course aims to familiarize students with the theoretical basis and the methods of comparison of the economic system as a basic tool for comparing economic systems. Student gradually acquire information on selected problems of international comparison, the problems of the economic system based on market and centrally planned injunction, respectively participatory systems and criteria used for international comparisons. In the final phase of the course will focus on the issues of practical application of acquired theoretical and methodological knowledge. The aim is to provide students with basic knowledge on the issue of international comparisons.

  10. Criteria for comparing economic level of the country
  11. Methods of measuring economic level
  12. Comparison of the economic level of the European Union
  13. Comparison of the economic level of the three centers of the world economy
