- Course objectives
- The course aims to enable to the graduates of master degree programs comprehensively understand the context of the current state of economic thought what should create the conditions for students to overcome bias and a simplification that is usually associated with traditional textbook interpretation of the general economy. Students will be gradually acquainted with pre-classical economic thoughts, classical and neoclassical economics, school of thought based on the opinion and ideas of J. M. Keynes, liberal economic schools, institutionalisms and public school choice. Students will be acquainted with the advantages and limitations of each approach and concept, and lecturer will focus primarily on development of critical thinking leaning on a comparison of particular approaches.
