  • 1. Definition of Competitiveness as an Economic Category
  • Approaches to defining the terminological framework. Theoretical foundations of competitiveness. The contemporary role of competitiveness.
  • 2. Strategy for International Competitiveness of the Czech Republic - I
  • Effective public administration. Access to public services. Infrastructure competitiveness. International economic stability. Competitive tax system.
  • 3. Strategy for International Competitiveness of the Czech Republic - II
  • Sectoral competitiveness – healthcare, education system, labor market, financial markets, innovation, conditions for business.
  • 4. International Trade and International Terrorism
  • Terrorism and its impact on international trade. Factors negatively affecting international trade. Direct and indirect impacts. Prevention of the negative effects of terrorism.
