Cílem předmětu je seznámit studenty s principy fungování geografických informačních systémů (GIS), konkrétně pak systému ArcGIS. Studenti získají celkový přehled o možnostech a praktickém uplatnění systému ArcGIS při řešení základních krizových situací a krizových analýz. Během kurzu se studenti seznámí s koncepcí softwaru ArcGIS a jeho funkcionalitou. Naučí se vytvářet, ukládat a spravovat prostorová data, využívat systém pro provádění prostorových analýz a výsledky vizualizovat do podoby mapových výstupů.
Syllabus
  • The course provides students the theoretical knowledge of the fundamentals of information systems for managers, focusing on crisis management, namely the extent permitted methodology understanding of the subject while practicing the use of both databases for crisis management and special information systems from the perspective of workers in the state emergency management and local governments.
