Course objectives
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the principles of geographic information systems (GIS), specifically ArcGIS. Students will gain an overview of the possibilities and practical application of ArcGIS in addressing the crisis situation and analysis. Students will learn the concepts of ArcGIS software and its functionality during the course. They will learn to create, store and manage spatial data, use the system to preform spatial analysis and visualize the results in the form of map outputs.
