Course objectives
579 / 5000 Výsledky překladu The interpretations follow, among other things, the knowledge acquired in stylistics - the knowledge of the text and its style. Students learn to understand the text as an environment in which and through which the human activity is realized. Attention is focused on both the knowledge of the factors constituting the text and the discovery of their relationships. Students learn to compile knowledge from all completed linguistic disciplines, they learn to apply the knowledge of textual linguistics in recognizing the properties of texts in all stylistic areas. The curriculum can be developed in a compulsory elective block with the subject Complex Analysis of Spoken and Written Text.
Learning outcomes
Ability to express oneself in professional spoken and written language. Ability to assess text (spoken and written) in interdisciplinary contexts Knowledge of relevant professional literature at home and abroad.

  • 1. Textual linguistics in modern philology 2. Complexity of spoken and written text 3. Factors constituting the text, their intersections, connections and relationships 4. Dialogic network as a principle of discourse 5. Types of texts - stylistic procedures and units in the current com. environment 6. Properties of linear texts (especially coherence, cohesion) 7. Current sentence structure 8. Compositional properties of nonlinear classical and electronic texts 9. Pragmatic and psychological aspects of text production and perception 10. Theory of speech acts 11. Realization of speech acts in written speech 12. Realization of speech acts in spoken speech 13. Textual linguistics and artistic text
