Course objectives
The aim of the lectures and seminars is to explain to students the development of theoretical thinking about literature and to help them to understand the basic specifics of literary trends and schools. Comparison of these trends has lead to the development of critical thinking, the ability to look at a work of literature from multiple points of view and the ability to choose the appropriate methodology for the interpretation of the text.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Přednášky navazují na dosavadní teoretické znalosti, prohlubují teoretické otázky genologie, vazeb jazyka a literatury, širších souvislostí literatury a ostatních druhů umění.
    V semináři komentovaná četba teoretických textů týkajících se následující problematiky:
    1. Obrazné pojmenování.
    2. Kompozice literárního díla; naratologie.
    3. Konkretizace literárního díla; intertextualita.
    4. Problematika interpretace literárního díla.
    5. Literární vývoj, liteárněhistorické celky.
