Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to put into context the development of communication and the development of culture. Several new trends related to personalities or movements that have influenced the development of new theories in social communication and the media, or the changes that take place in society and on which society is forced to react, will be studied during the semester. The importance of the differences of individual and the mass communication will be highlighted, the publication process and its changes, advances in technology, globalization and multiculturalism will be discussed. Seminars will follow the topics and reflect them in discussions and seminar works.

    4. Electronic communication, networking, digitalisation of culture
    5. Audience demasification and masification of authorship
    6. Intercultural communication and multiculturalism, globalization of culture and media
    7. Information explosion and information stress
    8. Virtualization and dematerialization of communication
