- Cíle předmětu
- This course offers a practical introduction to project development and management, applicable across disciplines. In today's world, an increasing number of initiatives, innovations, and social change efforts are implemented through project-based approaches, making project competencies essential for students from all fields. The course develops practical skills aligned with the LOUIS Competence Framework, including critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, civic engagement, teamwork, integrative learning, and building a foundation for lifelong learning. Through this course, students will acquire tools to develop and manage projects in a way that promotes innovation, responsibility, and social relevance. Course objectives are: - To provide students with a clear understanding of project management principles, tools, and terminology. - To equip students with the ability to design, structure, and write a simple project proposal suitable for practical application. - To introduce project development tools, including needs assessment, problem analysis, logical frameworks, and stakeholder engagement. - To enhance students' competencies in critical and creative thinking, teamwork, civic engagement, integrative learning, problem-solving, and building foundations for lifelong learning.

- By the end of the course, students will be able to: - Understand and apply essential project management concepts and terminology. - Conduct basic needs assessments and problem analyses to inform project development. - Design and write a structured, simple project proposal, applying critical and creative thinking. - Demonstrate teamwork, problem-solving, and civic engagement within the project development process.
- Osnova
- Lesson 1: Introduction to Project Management Definition and relevance of project management across disciplines. Differences between general project management and project management in helping professions. Core project terminology: project scope, deliverables, stakeholders, project lifecycle, project management plan, risk management, monitoring and evaluation, budget, sustainability, ethics. Competencies of a project manager, with emphasis on civic engagement. Lesson 2: Project Development Foundations Needs assessment and problem analysis (problem tree, SWOT analysis, data collection). Establishing baseline information. Defining innovation, mission, vision, and project objectives. Understanding target groups and stakeholder mapping. Introduction to project intervention logic. Lesson 3: Project Planning Tools and Logical Framework Logical framework approach: outputs, outcomes, activities, indicators. Risk management: risk register, mitigation strategies. Stakeholder register and communication plan. Project budgeting principles. Basics of monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Lesson 4: Project Documentation and Practical Tips Project charter and project plan structure. Writing a structured, simple project proposal. Common mistakes and how to avoid them. Project promotion, dissemination, replicability, and sustainability aspects. Preparation for project proposal presentations. Lesson 5: Student Project Presentations (Assessment) Presentation of individual or group project proposals. Peer feedback and discussion.
